MARK THE SPOT is a volunteer-run effort led by community members in Washington D.C. The concept to memorialize the spots where community members have been taken was a response to witnessing first-hand the violent actions of masked agents in unmarked vehicles working with Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE), operating complete disregard for due process and civil rights. There actions cause harm to the community members whom they’ve taken as well as to the broader communities that they belong to, and erode the strength of our democracy.

We must not forget. We must remember. We must demand an END to the violence.
